Ask the Expert

Do my supplements dissolve properly?

I've seen claims from some doctors and supplement companies that many other brands don't dissolve and therefore are not absorbed by the body. How can I know if my brand is okay?

Check out the "acid test for pills" in our article: What's in Your Multi? This test can be used to find out whether any pill is dissolving quickly and effectively—whether it's a dietary supplement, a prescription drug, or an over-the-counter pharmacy drug.
